Good Morning,
I would like to share my experience with you all as this forum was very helpful to us.
April 2015- Submitted I-130, I-485, I-765
May 2015- Did Biometrics.
July 2015- EAD Approved and received card.
It was crickets for my cases until 1/28/16
Jan 28 2016- Got text that interview was schedule for 3/2 Holtsville.
March 2 2016- Had interview, IO was very pleasant, he didn't ask much questions. He stated that he read our case and it was straight forward. We also share a child together which we brought to the interview with us. He asked yes/no questions and if we had any joint docs. We gave him the docs and he placed them in our file. He then said that was it and that he will work on our file by the end of the day. He also took my spouse I-94. He didn't verbally said we were approved, but from his action we knew we were. Got text notification this morning that I-485 & I-130 were approved.
I would like to just give GOD all the glory, honor and praise through this journey. It can be very drawn out and stressful at times, but just know that GOD is right there with you through it all. To all my fellow Long Islanders and NYC filers, just keep the faith. You're next in line!
