Question,help please!

I sent my I485 package to the wrong address, when I called they told me that I had to submitt a whole new package, I put stop payments on the money orders and I sent a new package, after all of this I received a letter confirming that they received the package that was supposed to be lost (YIKES!) that means that they are going to try to cash the checks and they are no good anymore.
Now my question is: whats going to happend to that first package that I sent?
Whats going to happen to the second one?
