HI, I was wondering if anyone is in my situation, I came into the US in an J1 VISA as an AUpair my DS end the 05 of january of 2016, But before it expired I apply for a change of status with an I20(f1 visa) the I-20 end december 2017, but i am still in process of adjustment of status, they havent answer whit a yes you can stay or a no , i am getting married and I am applying for a GC , i know it is possible because the new adjustment of status will anulate the f1 adjustment but I have problems in filling the papers, I hope someone here nows how i can fill this 2 forms ,
In the I-130 there is a seccion where they ask for the I-94 and when it expires ,my DS expire in january but the I-20 expires in december 2017, what should i have to put the january expiration date or the one in the I 20 ?
In the I-485 in the last part where it says USCIS status and the expiration date is f1 visa applicant and the date of the I-20 or is the date that my DS expire , if anyone is in the same situation and had help from a lawyer and was accepted or knows what to put in those secctions plis help me
