could someone who really knows please help me..i am about to do the aos on my wife..i am working as a contract laborer and reciece personnal checks each week for my pay,,i have about 6 copies of the checks and proof i cashed them at the bank that i am sending in with my i864,,i will make over the required limit for an annual salary,,will uscis accept these ...also when they say your expected annual income does that mean for a whole year or just to the end of the current year 2016..would really appreciate an answer from someone who knows...thanks

Your I-864 portion of the Adjustment package should include most recent Federal income tax return, copy of your proof of U.S. status (U.S. birth cert or Naturalization cert or Green Card), an employment verification latter or few recent pay stubs with employer name. The income amount should be an annualized computation of your current pay scale.
