  • Case is schedule, when will I get EAD?

Today I checked my case online, and it told me that my interview is schedule for April 28. I sent my AOS on February 3, 2016. When can I expect my EAD? I checked on EAD status and it still says case was received, but no update. My case is family based, I'm an unmarried child under 21 of US citizen.

    Thanks in advance

Your case seems to be moving swiftly along at the moment so that's good news. Current consensus suggests a time period of 3 months from the date if submission before such a card is produced. Assuming you have no Request Fie Evidence notices. Don't be too surprised if you receive it just before or straight after your interview!

Keep the faith and good luck for a months time.

Thank you so much for your response, I have one more question, the letter gives me a checklist and one thing on the list says " original copy of each supporting document that you submitted with your application. Otherwise, we may keep your originals for our records." Does this include such things as my approved I-130, birth certificate, passport with I-94, pay stubs (my parents), and most recent tax files? The only originals I don't have are the pay stubs, because I sent the originals, and for the taxes I only have the digital copy of them, will this a problem? I do have my mother's citizenship certificate, and her original birth certificate. Is this all I need?

      Thanks in advance
