Hello, first off I hope I'm posting in the right area since although my question is regarding I485, I also have questions regarding Consular Processing.
I was wondering what can I possibly do for this situation, in order to get approved. I came in using an F1 Visa, however due to some circumstances I became out of status. I was applied (I was already over 21) for and recieved an approval notice of action (I797) before I became out of status however, by my parents who are citizens.
My priority date is coming up on April, so any advice would be very helpful in resolving this, thank you.
Someone mentioned to me about Consular Processing (is this form I484?), can anyone explain what I have to do for it step-by-step, and what are my chances on getting approved thru it? Is there anyway I can stay in the US while getting this Consular Processing worked out?
Also, what would happen if I tried to send my I485 form next month. Thanks again for any and all replies.
