F1 - married US citizen

My husband and I got married back home upon his visit. I am came here as an F1 student. I am currently not at the school I came here on the I-20 on but I am in school. I work full time with no working papers. My husband is about to be a U.S citizen and thats when we are going to start applying for my green card.
Question 1 - the fact that I work full time illegally can that hinder our process? Should I stop working?
Question 2- - We got married back home in 2001 do we need to get married again here in the U.S.?
