If i am eligible, i would like to hire an attorney.
Every circumstance will be different, no one has full knowledge of the details in these cases here so it would be very difficult to say for certain what your eligibility status is.
It would be wise to speak to a lawyer who is well versed in these matters, research well on this so that you have an experienced lawyer who has previous history of successfully applying for waivers for those with a record.
Check whether some of them allow an initial free consultation period where you can run by them an idea of your specific situation.
In your area there may also be free volunteer services who can assist at the initial stages at the very least.

Whichever route you take expect to pay at some point so from my own standpoint it's better to have the right advice from the very beginning to avoid wasting time and monetary resource therefore go make an appointment with an experienced lawyer.
