  • I-485 Not Appearing In System

    Hi,

    On March 4, I submitted the concurrent filing of both Form I-130 and I-485 for me and my husband (along with all the other required forms). By March 14, I received in the mail (and through email) our receipt numbers. When I check the status online on the myUSCIS Case Status site, the receipt number for the Form I-130 appears and provides the generic "processing, please wait for further instructions" information. However, the I-485 receipt number does not yield any information. When entered into the system, it says receipt number is not found. Being a little worried about this, I contacted the customer service phone number on March 21. The representative I spoke to said that sometimes it can take up to 35 days for the receipt to be entered into the system. Being more than that amount of days now, I wanted to check and see if anyone has had a similar experience. Is it common for the receipt number to not appear in the system even though it has been assigned (and even with this amount of time passed)? Would anyone advise contacting customer service again, or just waiting it out? Customer Service didn't seem to have much information before (they're mostly reading though a script since they receive so many inquiries).
