I am a foreigner and in the process of applying I485. Last year, I was thinking of changing my status to F2 and asked my wife to update her I-20 (F1 student document) and list me as an F2 dependent. But we did not actually file for F2 change of status to USCIS. I have maintained my H1 visa since. Since my wife and I will file 485 together, my question is, will the I-20 document showing my F2 affect my 485 application? thanks.
