Hi, I had applied for an adjustment of status (I-485) through a spouse (citizen) in end of March. I had my biometrics completed on April 20. On April 19, I received an RFIE for giving more evidence for birth certificate. Does does delay the Advanced Parole as well? I was legally married for the purpose of being able to travel to India. I do have a job here in the US and they suggested to apply for greencard through spouse as it will work out cheaper for them. I am on F-1.
I have to travel to India in July as it will be my own wedding and me and my fiance (citizen) have invested a lot of money into the celebration. I got an RFIE basically around same time as my biometrics for not having enough evidence for birth certificate. I don't have a birth certificate being born in India before 1970s where registration of birth was optional. I had sent in a birth affidavit and all my forms and evidence that this is a real marriage through my company lawyer. Now it looks like this isn't enough for the UCSIS. It is almost impossible to obtain a availability of birth certificate from the indian government that quickly.
How does this hold affect my advanced parole timeline and what am I supposed to submit in this situation?
PLEASE advise as I am SO stressed.
