I married a US citizen in August 2015, and had an interview for Green Card on March 15, 2015. The interviewer told us that we will receive letter in the mail within a week. Two weeks later, we still did not receive it. My husband called and was told that because we got married in August 2015, we will have to wait until August 16, is this true? What should we do? Thank you.
