Company sponsored Adjustment status
Hello All,
This is my first post here in the forum so please bear with me
Below is the current timeline of my adjustment status to GC from L1A in Houston
1/22/2016: I-693 Medical Exam
1/29/2016: Pick up I-693 form
X/XX/ZZZ: Mailed package by the lawyer (I-765, I-131, I-485,including all the supporting documents)
2/03/2016: Received NOA’s for I-765, I-131, I-485
2/08/2016: Checked cashed
2/13/2016: Received bio-metrics appointment
2/29/2016: Bio-metrics appointment
3/14/2016: EAD/AP Approved
3/15/2016: EAD/AP Mailed
3/17/2016: EAD/AP Received
the status of my I-485: Finger Print fee was received 2/8/2016.
As you might all know Oil in Gas Industry is currently in crisis, though my company is one of the very few fortunate that doesn't have any downsizing this year.
Looking at the current market, I have to be vigilant and prepare for the worse...
I already talked to my lawyer and he said that my I-485 application will be affected in case something happens to my company (bankruptcy) or I loose my job (hopefully not).
Can anyone please enlighten me if you have a similar experience on my statement above?

the waiting time from EAD/AP approval to I-485 approval is about 3 to 4 months... (though, i'm not sure which status they all adjusted from)
If it is 3 to 4 months I can set my hopes high, but my lawyer told me that it would take from 7 months to a year...
