Boston Filers for April 2016

Hi new to the forum. Just want to know if there are any April 2016 filers from Boston MA? Want some support and to know what's going on with someone else. This process can be so nerve racking.

May 2 2016.....Text and sms notification
May 9 2016.....NOA received by mail
May 13 2016...Biometrics appointment received by mail
May 26 2016...Biometrics appointment date

Well I filled in April as well. But I live NJ.
My timeline;
April 21, receive text and email for "Acceptance confirmation" with receipt number
April 25, received NOA in mail From NBC
May 10, had Biometrics done.

Still haven't heard anything.

Question, are you able to check the process of your status online with your Case/Receipt number? For some reason, I always get the error message. It's so frustrating.

My biometric is shedule for May 27th I filed in April also but still can't check mine online either. I called uscis but they told me I have to wait for at least 45 days in some cases to be able to check it online but she assured me that the process continue even though I can't check it online. Don't worry about that too much.

Yes I am able to check it online. I was getting the same error message but my information came up a few days after getting the NOA letters in the mail.

Boston filers - adjustment of status / Green Card - timeline

• 4/20 - Sent package to USCIS
• 5/2 - Received text message confirmation that received
• 5/12 - Received Biometrics appointment
• 5/25 - Biometrics taken
• 6/3 - Received noticed that medical examination missing and to bring to appointment
• 6/2 - online status changed to "we will schedule your interview and send you a notice"

Waiting since.... Based on proxies in this forum for Boston, i believe late April filers will end up somewhere on the below time frame.

Expected to
- Receive EAD card - 7/14
- Interview notice - 9/30
- Interview 10/30
- Green card 11/10

Where did other Boston filers end up? Are December 2015/January 2016 filers already getting interview notices??

How did you calculate the expected time frame? I filed back in the middle of April 2016 but they didn't get my packet til the 25th of April. Did my Biometrics June 1st and still haven't heard anything. I check my status on all 3 receipts and nothing has changed; everything still says that they received my documents on the 25th of April. Even the notice for my EAD that stated to wait for my Biometrics has no updates. I see people posting about getting their interview notice or seeing a change of status to "ready for review" but not me. Really getting discouraged here.

Hey Bivaniaro,

I am just estimating the timeline based on other members in the forum who filed in Boston and have completed the process.
You are filing in Houston though which will likely have a different time line. It seems the end to end process takes 3 - 10 months (big delta) depending on the city you are filing in/have in interview in.

If anyone else is filing in Boston, I would love to hear how your time line has been progressing.

Nevada timeline

Hello! I'm not sure if my timeline will help you, but we filed in Nevada January, 20 2016 and as of today July, 18 we are still waiting for our interview to be scheduled. I think the system is equally slow everywhere. Good luck to you!

Case recieved 4/15
Biometric 5/20
Interview scheduled notice received 7/2
Interview will be on 8/4/2016.

Is it possible to have an interview before the priority date is current? I filed with date for filing table which when after current date.

Filling from California.

Mailed April 22.

Received and Priority date April 25th.
May 5, 2016 Received NOA Papers, MSC Receipt# for all three applications.
May 11, 2016 MSC# Registers on USCIS Website.
May 14, 2016 Received Biometrics NOA
May 23, 2016 Biometrics appointment set for this date.
I have not received anything else from them..

I called today about my EAD to get any information since its been past 75 days. They said that they are sending a request to make a decision on my case in the 90 day time frame. So ill have to wait a few days to get any info.
