On form I-485 where it asks for your nonimmigrant number, consulate where visa was issued, and the date... I am having difficulty finding these answers.
I am a canadian citizen who initially entered the US on an F-1 student visa. Upon completion of my studies I was granted an OPT. I am now adjusting my status.
As Canadian citizens we are granted our F-1 at the border and our passports are stamped each time we come across as long as we have our I-20 as proof of enrollment. Do I even have a consulate who granted this visa? Do I just put "none" and explain these circumstances on an attached sheet? Or am I completely misunderstanding this?
