I had my GC interview at federal plaza nyc on May 23, 2016. My husband and I got there on time. We waited for almost 2hours before we got interviewed. It was a nice young lady that interviewed us. The interview was very pleasant and relaxed. The question asked to my husband who is the petitioner was how we met, how long after we started dating, if I was married before, if I had kids and what are their names, where I was born, etc to all my husband answered correctly. She asked me who in his family i know, where he works, what does he do, his hours of work, if he goes to school, his hours of school, his previous address, how he pays for school etc. To which I answer all correctly. She asked to see our joint items, which we really don't have much, we have a joint ac, credit card, a phone plan and a picture album. She took them, she asked a few questions as to who in the pics etc. Then she did the yes n no questions. We weren't approved on the spot, she gave me a receipt to say the response will be in 180 days. It said no other proof required and case is being reviewed. Now it's been a week, no response yet. My status as not been updated since April. She didn't explain about the conditional Greenland. I am a bit worried. Anyone has a similar experience or any advise ?

Maybe they just needed more time to look over the paperwork. I don't know how long you guys have been married for but maybe if you guys just recently got married it might be something too. We didn't have a lot of joint accounts together but we did have like our taxes done together. Hopefully you get something soon, best of luck.
