Request for Initial Evidence

Hi all,

I am carvella . I applied I-130, I-485 through spouse she is usa citizen. I sent all my documents to USCIS on april 5th 2016.

I-765 :: application they sent me letter for bio fingerprint and I successfully gave on may 12th.

I-130 :: status shows ""Notice Was Returned To USCIS Because The Post Office Could Not Deliver It"". so I sent request on may 15 to send me notice again. They gave me date till june 15th. You will receive by that.

I-485 :: status shows""Request for Initial Evidence Was Mailed On May 31, 2016, we mailed a request for initial evidence for your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status. The request for evidence explains what we need from you. We will not take action on your case until we receive the evidence or the deadline to submit it expires. ""

So My question is what will be the documents they are asking about.

I am master student completed my masters on 2016 January. I am under opt now. I am have work authorization from January 20,2016 but I am not yet employed. my wife is also not employed and she get money from government. I have submitted an usa citizen tax returns (3 Years) as sponcer for us.

i got my RFE today it took them 1 week to receive the request in my hand. mine was about affidavit of support. since ur wife is receiving government help that will be a big issue cuz they don't want to give u government assistance. most likely they will ask you for additional sponsor

1. Thanks for your reply. I already submitted Sponsor he(Single) has 20,000 per year and he is eligible according to usa poverty levels.
Do I need one more sponsor?

2. You received your RFE today? How many days they gave you deadline to submit the documents back to them?

they give you 87 days
