Help! no update on 485 status

I filed adjustment of status based on marriage in March. i485 was received on March 29th. Already received my EAD on May 21st. However, 485 status is still in "fingerprint fee received".
How long does it take for the status to change to "ready to schedule interview"?
Anyone can share some experience?

I do not know which state you are filling in, but in MO where we are filling our time line is:

09/08/2015 documents received
09/15/2015 received MSC case numbers
10/05/2015 fingerprints done
10/15/2015 case status changed to "Ready to schedule your interview"

Since then nothing. We called, we had case escalated and we are still waiting for letter for interview. I hope yours will go faster, but seems like there is a long wait for some reason almost all over the country.

Check your status this way!

Hey if you are having trouble checking your status, you can enter your USCIS receipt number https://simplecitizen.com/uscis-case-status/ and sign up for automatic updates from the USCIS. This way if they make any changes you will automatically be notified via email or text. Then you wont have to try and call them up every 2 seconds.

It tells you the same information as the USCIS site, but you can sign up for automatic updates. So if anything changes in your case, you will get an email or text message update. It essentially does the same thing that an G-1145 should do, but that has never worked for me in my 5+ years of experience with the USCIS.

Do not dispair. It often takes a long time for USCIS to process I-485

In my case, in South Florida, it took 8 from receiving the EAD (October 2015) to receiving the letter shcedulling the interview (May 2016). In any case, the interview was schedulled for mid June 2016.

During that period, the USCIS website remained essentially unchanged... Albeit I checked it on a weekly -at some point a daily- basis.

Just do not dispair. Wait patiently... And if your nerves beta you, call their hotline.
