affidavit of support

Hi all!

I'm getting all the paperwork ready to apply for GC but I'm stuck on the i-864 form.

My husband is currently working half time, so we need a joint sponsor for the affidavit. I'm currently working full time in the US and my income meets the 125% requirements so I want to use my income for the affidavit (also my employer has already told me that she will keep me on my job position).

My question is: Do we file a separate i-864 each of us? Am I the only one that needs to file it?

Also, what documentation do I need to prove my income and the willingness of my employer to keep me on my job?

Girl i tired to add my income to my husband's income and they send the application back. USCIS don't care that you have worked and can financially take care yourself. you have to get a joint sponsor. to immigration ur a foreigner and you can loose ur job at anytime
