RFE for Spouse tax
Hi all my name is carvella,
On April 5th I applied for i-485 though my husband(spouse) he is usa citizen(by birth). My husband is unemployed for whole year 2015 so he did not applied for tax 2015. Along with application we sent a letter which states he is not employed.
Now I received Request for initial evidence(I-485) stating
"" the petitioner(My husband) must submit income tax returns to IRS for the most recent year. If you were not required to file a federal tax under usa law please attach a written explanation why your not required to file"
Please tell me what to do now?
history: he receive un- employement benefits from government every 2 weeks. as he is not employed he did not filed tax for 2015.
