Sharing my brief interview experience .Please advise on your thoughts.
scheduled for an interview at the Atlanta field office yesterday. Initially myself & my wife were assigned to different IO's. However they worked something among themselves & we both were interviewed by one officer. The officer asked us to wait in her office while she reviewed our case in front of us. (We are using cross- chargeability to my wife's country of birth as her country is not backlogged, we have filed under the EB2 category with priority of July 2012. At the time of applying for AOS we were married for 3 months.) She then asked some marriage based questions like name of your spouse, have you met his parents etc. She then asked me couple of basic questions. She asked if we had any documents we want to give her, we gave her joint tax statements, joint health insurance, joint car insurance, credit card statements, blank check of our joint checking account, trips we have take together. She then proceeded & checked our photo albums, took a few pics from the albums for the file. She finally did the yes/no questions from 485 form for both myself & wife. In the end she took copies our passports, DL & took my wife I94 as it was paper based. She then said she will review the documents, ensure if we don't have any reasons of inadmissibility & request a visa number. She said if the visa number is available she will move forward else she will send the case back to Texas Service Center. She did not give us any paper/form with anything written on it regarding her decision or that she is going to review the docs. We have not received any updates online since the interview. Reading online I have seen people usually get updates the same day or the very next day.
Not sure how to feel about this interview. Can you please advise your thoughts on our experience & the possible outcome.
