Hi,
I am currently working in the USA on an L1 visa while my spouse (who has an L2 visa) is based in India and plans to move to the USA in Jan 2017.
My company plans to initiate the green card process (under category EB1-3) for me as well as my spouse in August 2016. As part of this we need to fill the I-485.
My question is - can my spouse do the associated medical exam in India in an approved facility or must this exam be done only in the USA as this is an adjustment of status application?
The reason for this is that my spouse can complete the application with only one trip to the USA, else we will have to make 2 trips; ie one for medicals and one to file the application.
