Why are they requesting initial evidence for my i765 and i131?

This forum is really helpful here is my timeline.
I came here on a f1 visa in f and married my us citizen wife on november 2015 in NYC. The paperwork is being processed in the MSC office.

march 22, 2016 -they received my i485 i765 i130 i131 and i864
April 19, 2016 - biometrics done for i485 and i765
may 11, 2016 - the status for my i485 change to case ready to be schedule ( i got really excited)
june 6,2016 - i called to check on the status of my i765 and i131 (75 days after filing)
june 7, 2016 - form i765 and i131 changed status to request initial evidence.

Why did that happen? Is someone else in the same situation? What do you think they are requesting?

Please Help me!! I feel a little desperate

while in us have u gotten any work permit? did u send them ur i20, i94

yesterday i got both letters requesting the initial evidence and yes i already sent those documents and i dont have the work permit yet. They are only requesting the signature of the person who prepared my forms i765 and i131 hehe. i hope when i send those forms back on monday, they processed it quickly.
