I-864 income rejection

I am sponsoring my wife.
A few weeks after sending the I-485 I received an update saying that the office was unable to complete the processing because my listed income did not meet 125% of the poverty guideline.
However my income is 70,000 dollars this year.
The only reason I can think of is that my income in previous years did not meet the poverty requirement (student), or that I only started my new job 3 months ago.
Can anyone shed some light on this for me?

u can't fight it, just get a joint sponsor. someone who income for 2014 and 2013 add up with ur make it above poverty line, remember to check their household size
