I-485 Interview notice

Hi All,

My priority date is June 2009 and my wife and I got our EAD 3 months ago.
Now we got the I-485 Interview notice. I didn't expect this at this time as the PD for main GC gone back to 2004.
Is this the expected one? Are they picking up the applications randomly?
My wife has been in India for 6 months now as her mom is not feeling well. Does this trigger the USCIS to go for an interview?

Please advice me.

We have been asked to attend the I485 interview on July 15th 2016.
Does this mean that my PD will become current anytime soon?

hi Suri, yes that is the real deal Interview to get the green card. I just got my interview scheduled too. very happy.
