As a U.S. citizen, I filed I-485 and Advanced Parole for my father (who is over 80 years of age). The priority date is May 31, 2016.
Would anyone tell me when approximately he will get his approval notice for his GC? May we travel outside of the U.S. when he gets the approval notice?
I'd rather wait until he gets GC approval, because there is no guarantee that he can return to the U.S. with AP before the approval of GC.
