  • Travel Document / Please advice

    Hello everyone,

I wanted to ask if anyone has used the travel card they issue when you apply for it? We filled for green card last September and still waiting for interview letter. I was coming a little inpatient but my husband is very calm. Suddenly last night we had a call his family had an emergency situation and we are talking about flying out there, but he is afraid that he might not be able to enter the country again, I will travel with him, but I am worried too if he will be admitted. Does anyone has any experience with the travel document, traveling outside of the United States? Any advice, should we leave? Thank you I will appreciate all comments!

Me and my wife traveled to Punta Cana for vacation on her AP card, she re-entered with no problems, they just asked the usual questions about where we went and why, then took finger print and photo and sent her to the 2nd screening room which lasted all but 5 minutes. It is still taking a risk, because it can go either way, as long as your husband hasnt violated any laws and your application is pending you should be ok.
