I'm in the process of my AOS I'm yet to get my interview date but I changed my phone number is it necessary to notify USCIS about it incase they try to contact me or they'll use my email to contact me.

i highly doubt USCIS primary way to contact applicant is by phone. if they need anything from u they will mail it to u.
