Please help me.
My wife is a US citizen and I live in US.
We made a mistake because we were trying to find someone to support us... that's why we sent out I-130 prior to the I-485.
USCIS received our I-130 on April 6, 2016.
USCIS sent the receipt notice.
The receipt notice returned to the USCIS Because the post service could not deliver it.
We submitted I-486 and all required documents on June 20,2016.
I called USCIS and they said they don't send a duplicate of the receipt notice...
I have two questions:
1- since I didn't have the receipt notice, I submitted a screen shot of my "case status" along with my i-485. Do you think they are going to accept that?
2- if not, how long does it take for the I-130 to be approved?
