hi guys, got a question regarding I-485

My case status online at USCIS.gov reads as follows:

Current Status:

"On July 29, 2004, we transferred your I485 Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status to our office in HARTFORD, CT for them to schedule and conduct your interview. Scheduling can take several months. Our office in HARTFORD, CT will notify you when they schedule your interview or take other action on your case. If you need further information, please call the National Customer Service Center at (800) 375-5283."

I have been getting my EAD every year renewed.
-So far the latest in my case is that a got a fingerprint request for I-485 three weeks ago which i went and completed.

On the message above it says it could take several months for an interview, but it has now been over 1 yr.

Does anyone know if im close or what the status could be??

just curious Did you get a request for medical examination? I am not sure where that falls in the process of getting to the final getting the greencard. But I do believe that it is one of the last stages...

No thats not the last step.....I took the exam in the beginning, the requested very early.

My message was "On February 20, 2004, the results of your fingerprint review for your I485 Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status were received...".I had my 2-nd fingerprints on december 2005,I just got ,one week ago the letter for my interview on april 6.You should wait more,You will recive someting,the most in 6 months.Good luck

I got my interview date on April 12th. So thats about 1 month after my 485 finger printing in late Feb.

Hi, did u get approval, passaport stamped,etc? What`s ur PD, category (EBs)?
