  • HELP!! - Timeline after RFE - Advance parole & work authorization

    Hi guys,

I am a bit desperate and would like some experience about your timeline. I am married to a veteran of the american army, USCIS received our package in february and I am still waiting for something from them. I am not asking to have my green card already but at least my work authorization and advance parole. Everything started well.

=> I called them many times and did a E-request because it's been over 90 days, they replied my application is still on the correct timeline.
=> I contacted my congress representative, she just got an answer from them saying they will review my application in the next 60 days! So it would be 6 months after I sent it...

Feb 22nd: Package received by USCIS
    March 25th: Finger print
    April 15th: RFE
    April 18th: RFE sent
May 04th: RFE is being rewieved

Almost 2 months with no updates and it is driving me crazy!!! I am losing great job opportunities but the worst is my parents health conditions... They are both been declared handicapped after accident. I have all the medical document to prove everything. And I can't even be with them to go throught this hardtime they are having.

What else can I do? How long did it take for you ater your RFE? They were very reactive until May, why they are not anymore?!!
