  • Expedite process & congress representative experience?

    Hi guys,

I have been asking for some help to my congress representative but she didn't really help me. She just asked uscis some update on my case... So I called USCIS and asked to expedite the process and asked again for some help to my congress representative.

My parents are both in bad health condition, that is the reason, I am requesting an expedite process on my Advance parole.

I have to provide a lot of proof for my resquest. Has anyone been through the same king of request and would like to share?

Uscis received our package: february 22nd 2016.
    Fingers print: March 25th
RFE for tax purposes: April 15th
    Responded few days after
RFE finally being reviewed May 4th
    Waiting ...

Why is it taking so long??

Did you try the more direct approach with an INFOPASS appointment? "Sometimes" the agents at such appointments can move a routine completion (Advance Parole) faster.

I actually went yesterday but the agent didn't do anything.
He just said it would be approved soon but it's been over a month I hear that... I sent the package in February!!!

I expedited the process through the phone with uscis and I haven't heard from them. I provided proofs of my parents situation without hen asking me for that. It's like my request is rejected no matter what I do.

My congress representative is not taking care of the case either since uscis respond they will give me an answer in 60 days! So by this end of August!?!?!?

I got in touch with an ombudsman he confirmed me that I can get my advance parole right away in the infopass appointment. But obviously the agent didn't want to.

I am very hopeless and angry at the same time.

      What should I do!?
