Where are EAD and AP processed? Filed in NYC.

Hi all,
Are EAD and AP processed at local offices or at a national center like the I-485?

My case was received on 4/7/2016 and I had my Biometrics appointment on 5/11 but I haven't heard anything since then for either EAD or AP (it's been 94 days). I'm in NYC so I'm wondering if there might be delays here if EAD and AP are indeed processed locally.

Any one knows or is having similar delay?
