    Hi, need some help:

    Pakistani national
PERM LCA approved in Nov 2015
    EB-2 category (203 B2 Adv Degree-Exc Ability)
I-485 and I-140 filed concurrently in January 2016
Receipt notice for 485 shows Priority date May 28, 2015
Case being processed in Nebraska service center

Based on the above information when shall I expect the Green Card in hand?

    Thanks in advance.

What I am trying to understand is that based on:

      i) Priority date shown in I-485 receipt notice (May 2015)

ii) The date when I-140 and I-485 were concurrently filed (Jan 2016)

iii) The USCIS processing time listed here https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/processTimesDisplayInit.do that shows: Field Office Processing Dates for Nebraska Service Center as of: May 31, 2016 --> I-485 employment based adjustment applications cases are being processed as of Date December 2, 2015.

is there an educated guess as to when one might expect to receive the Green Card?

Based on (iii) above if USCIS Nebraska office that is processing my case is processing I-485 cases filed as of December 2, 2015 (last updated as of May 31, 2016), would it be fair to assume that if my case was filed in Jan 2016 that my case should hopefully be processed in very soon? Note that this USCIS update was posted on May 31, 2015 and now it is July 21, 2016. So the difference between these two dates is close to 2 months. So if as of May 31, 2016 cases filed as of Dec 2, 2015 were being processed it seems like as of today USCIS might be processing cases as of January 2016 APPROXIMATELY. Is this a fair assumption? How does the Priority date of May 2015 listed on 485 receipt notice come into play?

The processing center in Nebraska is a clearing house. If you look at USCIS page only protected refugees such as haitians are processed thru that service center. Based on your address, location your case will be submitted to the nearest filed office. My case went through Nebraska and is now forwarded to the Orlando office as I'm here in Winter Springs. Also your priority date is based on the visa quota set up by Dept. of State. There are limited numbers of Visa's based on country etc. Check the Visa Bulletins when they come out. I beleive the August bulletin is published this week.

          Thanks Adrian.

On your I-485 receipt notice that you had first received after filing your case did it say Nebraska service center or Orlando office?

When your case moved from Nebraska to Orlando, did you receive any communication / status udpate from USCIS or any status update?

Is this the right place to check the visa bulletin? https://travel.state.gov/contenthttp.../bulletin.html

Looking at July 2016 bulletin the table for "APPLICATION FINAL ACTION DATES FOR EMPLOYMENT-BASED PREFERENCE CASES" for Employment Based 2nd (which I understand means EB2), for "All Charge-ability Areas Except Those Listed" reads as "C" which I think means Current . Correct? meaning there should be no processing delay?

But looking at August 2016 bulletin the table for "APPLICATION FINAL ACTION DATES FOR EMPLOYMENT-BASED PREFERENCE CASES" for Employment Based 2nd reads as "01FEB14". Does this mean all of a sudden there is a 2 year delay now?

Not sure if I am reading the bulletin correctly. Based on all this info, what should be the expectation for when the Green card may be issued?

Each case is different, my case involves immediate family/spouse so there is an unlimited amount of visa #'s and the process takes 87 days.

I did not get a reciept for the I-485, what I/You recieve is Form "Notice of Action Form 797c" It tells you the date your package was recieved, the amount paid, and that I will recieve a biometric appointment for finger prints and pictures. These appointments are handled by a support center. Standard wait times are 9 months for reciept/replacement GC.
Also it depends how backlogged the F.B.I. is as thats where your prints are checked in their CODIS system.

P.S. check your 797 for a priority date.

Thanks. I was using the wrong terminology when I said receipt notice. What I actually meant was Notice of Action as you mentioned. So my "Form I-797C, Notice of Action" for I-485 as the priority date in May 2015. I already went for my finger print / biometrics in March 2016.

Does this help further to guesstimating?

I am just very worried about "APPLICATION FINAL ACTION DATES FOR EMPLOYMENT-BASED PREFERENCE CASES" where 2nd priority (I am EB2) shows "01FEB14". I looked at many past bulletins on the website and it always used to be current i.e. "C" and all of a sudden for August bulletin it shows 01FEB14. Not sure if this is temporary thing or will continue to be like this.
