    Hi Everyone!

I just want to ask for some advice regarding the interview.

Im adjusting my status from expired Tourist visa since I got marrried to my husband (US Citizen.)

I was working for 3 years (under the table). Im not good at lying, what are the risk if the immigration will find out that I work without having legal papers during my interview?
and what are the most common questions do they usually ask?

    Thanks!

there is no way for uscis to know that u worked illegally if u dont pay taxes. i know people that worked and uscis didn't turn them down for that sole reason. if uscis brings it up then tell the truth, just don't mention it.

        Hi there.

We had our interview June 30. Keep in mind, I didn't have my EAD at the time of our interview yet. I've been a nanny for the past couple of years. And didn't pay taxes. So the officer asked me if I worked. And I told her, yes, partime as a nanny. So she just said ok.

Thank you for the reply. May I know what are the other questions they asked you?

Msc. Interview went well. Approved on the spot. Looked at our passports, birth certificates, port of entry questions. How long we have been together. It took maybe 20 minutes. Said green card should be on mail soon. Status changed to Green card being produced.
                Feel so happy.

Sorry for the late responds. Just seeing this.

                  Questions we were asked:
                  * asked for both out ID's.
                  * I was asked when's the last time I entered the US
*How long my husband lives sy present address and if he owns the condo
                  *When we met
                  *if I'm working.
*Yes/No questions. But she only asked me like 5 out of them all.

Got approved on the spot and got my GC less than a week later
