Hello,
This is my first time writing here, and I have been trying to do some research but there are a lot of questions that has not been answered in my head, so it would be much appreciated if you guys can help me out here. Basically, my father got approved for NIW (EB2) last year, and our application is currently in transit to the embassy for the final interview date. However, I heard that we are not going to be able to get the visa issued to us since the quota is over and this coming September or October would be possible. The problem is that I won't be with my parents until this December for winter break since I go to a college in the States, and I really need to get a job as soon as possible for my career. Because of my school calendar, it is impossible for me to come back before this December for the interview, and I just need work permit to be issued to me as soon as possible. I am not sure if adjustment of status would be the fastest way for me or just to wait until December. Please let me know if you have any questions, and thanks for reading!
