Does anyone know how long it takes to renew EAD? My case is pending (i485 marriage based), I had my second interview, and I'm about to lose my job due to expired EAD. I don't want to wait another 3 months for it. Do I have to do biometrics again? Please share if you have any experience with that.

Typically, you do have to go for biometrics on EAD renewal and sometimes you don't have to get your picture retaken if you had one done last time. I've had an EAD through TPS qualification and every time I've had to do the renewal I've still have had to wait 3 months. Hope this helps. Hoping this process finally stops for me with my AOS.
