Unique Case
Hello all, I have a unique case I would like to discuss, here are the salient points:
*german born citizen of canada
*My family emmigrated to the USA in 1965 from Hamiltom Bermuda
*Recieved Perm Res Status along with Social Security Card
*POE NY NYC, settled in Willimington Del.
*Attended HS
*Registered for Draft SS
*I had to return to Ontario for 6 months to pick up vehicle family purchased
*Re-entry to US via Detroit in 1973
*CBP conducted legal inspection and searched vehicle
*CBP took my GC said I needed to surrender
*From 1973-Present remained in US and gainfully employed
*Married in in FL. to US born woman/1981-Present
*Son born to us in 1985 in Fl.
*Filing for SS benefits in 2015/benefit approved subject to proof of residency
*Filed I-90 replacement of GC/Denied due to voluntary surrender/ Officer told me I would have no issue to new application for CH. of Status
*Submitted I-130 in 1/5/2016 - Approved in May 2016
*Filed for COS I-485 in 07/05/2016
* Fingerprint Fee Was Received
On July 7, 2016, we accepted the fingerprint fee for your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status, Receipt Number MSC16 Our National Benefits Center location is working on your case. We mailed you a notice describing how we will process your case. Please follow the instructions in the notice. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.
*All correspondence from USCIS uses my old GC# issued to me in 1965
*Docs enclosed: COMPLETED AND SIGNED I 485 PACKAGE

Since I have a valid FL. D/L and a valid SS# I had no issues finding work and paying Taxes.
The initial I-130 petition I had aff/support however with the I-485 I submitted I-864W + Plus wageand earnings from SSA
Any comments/suggestions are most welcomed.
