I-130 Affadavit Letters

My wife and I are trying to put all of the required documents together without the help of an attorney.

I have had conflicting reports about whether affadavit letters are needed to file with the I-130. I've had some say they are very important and others say they didn't use them at all.

Could anyone advise please?

We've been living together for 4 years so have lots of other supporting evidence.

don't go crazy on that, i brought letter and they did not look at them... if u do have them, bring them just in case you get a nasty officer.
