I485 with I765

I have an EAD with OPT. When I apply I485, do i need to apply I 765. My EAD is still valid. Ithe is going to be expired after 6 months. How shall I do?

yes u will ned to apply for i765 plus travel and select permission to accept job. if not u will not be able to work until u receive conditional green card.
