  • Address question

My fiancé is here on a J1 visa through the company he works with and he does not have a set home address. He travels and stays with different people for his job ...When we get married civilly, does that automatically give him my home address to refer to when it comes to these documents? I'm living with my parents and once were married we will both be living with my parents..

He wants to be able to get a US drivers license so this is part of how my question arises.

Do both of us living with my parents make any difference in this adjustment of status process? I make above the poverty level when it comes to me being solely the affidavit of support. Does marrying solve my address question/issue? Am I making any sense? Lol help

We will be sending out the papers as soon as we're married.

Based on your state visit your DMV website and check on what documentation you will need. Since 9/11 its not EZ to secure a DL if you are not a permanent resident, but each state is different. If you live in FL you will need a passport/visa, proof of domicile etc. If he is Canadian FL is more lenient. As I said each state has different criteria.
