  • Proof of marriage

when it comes to proof of a bonafide marriage, I'm nervous me and my soon to be husband won't have enough "proof" for the USCIS.. I still live with my parents so he will be moving in with us so I won't have any proof of utility bills together, i will still be on my parents health insurance so can't have proof with that...

We do have a bunch of pictures together, I flew over to his country a couple of times, we recently opened up a joint bank account together.. We will have pictures of our small wedding. Any suggestions on what else I should include/do? I see suggestions of having a few family members/friends to write a letter about our marriage, but how would they word it?

ask 3 people write a letter about ur marriage as entered in good faith get it notarized, if u have money buy life insurance, ask ur parents to write a letter stating u guys are responsible for paying x amount on bills. make sure he changes his address to have proof.

      April fillers 2016 timeline

      Hi everyone,
I would like to ask if there is someone who applied at the same time as me with my husband or who has similar experience with lime line as we have.

      3/30 Application sent(I 130, I 485, I 765)
4/18 Documents recieved by USCIS, recieved confirmation letter for all three applications
5/13 Recieved Biometrics notice by mail
      5/23 Biometrics done
5/25 Recieved by mal Request for initial evidence (Joint sponsor, last year taxes, W2, paystubs)
      6/9 Answer for RFE sent
6/21 USCIS recieved RFE answer, online statuse changed-Response To USCIS' Request For Evidence Was Received
7/22 Approval notice of I 765 recieved by mail
7/25 Online status changed to New card is being produced-EAD card
      7/28 EAD card was mailed
8/1 EAD card recieved by mail

Status of I 485 havent chnaged since June 21st but last update was made on July 28th but status still saying Response To USCIS' Request For Evidence Was Received, does anybody has any idea what it can mean? How long will it take to recive the answer for the RFE or is it the answer that case will be ready to be scheduled for the interview? How long do you think it will take to get interview notice? It has been four months since we filled the application and I feel I can take the waiting anymore, patience really become my best friend and even than I feel I have last drops of patience left. Any similar experience or information will really help and would greatly appreciate them!! Thank so much.

You can get a joint membership with Cosco, BJ's or Sam's club. That works nicely. Also add your spouse as a co-applicant or co-user on your credit card; this can be done in 10 min. over the phone.

Check with your local museum. They usually have annual suscriptions for families and they issue cards to each of you.
