i-130 and i-485

I have a question. Is it best to file i-130 and i-485 seperately or together. Would the process be faster if I file both at a time?

Short answer is yes, however its based on your I-130 petition for Alien Relative? If you are a US Citizen and are petitioning for an immediate family member then there is no wait for a visa number.
The avg wait time for approval of the I-130 is 4-5 months provided all your documentation is in order. The avg wait time for AOS is 87-90 days.
