I-485 interview - result pending

We were interviewed for GC (I-485) on 03/07/2006 at Phoenix Office. We applied under EB1 category and didn't go through attorney. After the interview we were told by the officer that we are going to recieve the decsion in a month or two. What does this mean? We are in a confused state.
Are there anyone to share similar experience in this regard?

Just wait and hope for the best. it happened to my son and his case was forward to immigration judge but any how you should get it if you are eligible. The thing is some times the officer can't make the decision for some reason, like your alien number is not available yet for example and some times they forward the case to a regional officer or a judge for the decision because they are not authorized to make it or doesn't want to take the responsibility in case of a immigration violation you did before or some thing but in both cases they just follow the law and again if you are eligible you should get it no sweet.
