Six months ago I received a call from a police detective about a crime of moral turpitude, he was saying someone has accused me of that crime. The accusations were not making sense/obviously **** , hence the detective never contacted me again. The detective had only my name, age and height. The single phone call by the detective was the only contact I had with law enforcement. Now I am filling for adjustment of status, I checked no to the arrest/citation/convictions in the 485 application. Do you guys think it will come up in my fbi background check? Am I in trouble? Can they deny my green card? Thanks for the help, I am very tensed and it's just unfortunate that I have to go through this without any fault of mine. Thanks.
