i m really thankful to all of you guys from b2 to green card i have always been surfing in this website ...i ve been to bunch of countries before i applied for tourist visa ..after 2 months in us i met my soulmate and we decided to marry two month later [a short engagement].Five months after marriage we decided to change my status we didn 't hire a lawyer we did everything by ourselves ...the interview was kinda tough but we were approved the same day .all i can say is thank you guys without you i would never apply for a tourist visa i would never meet my soulmate .
timeline
august 1st 2015th marriage at city hall new York [two witness her best friend and my cousin but they did take only one witness ID]
january 17 th 2016 package sent to the office at Chicago [I130,I765,I485 with he three last w2]
two days later package received ..
february 12th 2016 bio metric
february 18th 2016 bio metric accepted
mars 3rd 2016 request for initial evidence [i didn't send the copy of my birth certificate] i sent it the same day with the notice .
April 4 th EAD card received [employment authorization].
August 16 th 2016 interview i wasn't approved in the spot but get a message two hours later .
August 24 th green card received .
Advice[ be truthful and patient you can get though it smoothly] zero stress do what yu have to do .. i pray for everybody pray for me ..Green is good a happy marriage is good as well...Love my soulmate ...love you guys too...gud luck to everybody...
