Hi guys,
I entered the US as a student on July 2015 then I graduated from University and got married to my husband on Last December. My husband is in the Army. So I'm under F1 visa and which is already expired last month (07/2016). Here is my AOS time line:
I submitted my documents in Saint Louis.
My PD 06/20/16
Biometric done : 08/01/16
I just got my FRE on 08/21/16 about the tax documents showing that My husband has not reach the 100% of poverty guidelines (for the military member) so I need a joint sponsor. My brother is a USC lives in North Carolina will fill as my joint sponsor. My question is:
1: can I get my EAD card first regardless my FRE is turned in or I have to wait until the FRE complete then they will process my EAD.
2: I just read s.o talking about got hired by a company then she/he call for expedite the EAD. So should I do the same, because im not sure that i can be hired or not without the permission to work?
3: my husband is financing a car so can I list it as our asset? Because that is the only assets that we have as a pretty young couple (we live in a military post)
Thank you guys so much. I really hope they make it fast because there is a big chance my husband gonna be deployed and I really want to work too.
