I just submitted my AOS package, filing from Newark NJ so thought it would be good to band together with other people whose package will be mailed/accepted in September so that we can bite our nails together and offer support Lol.

MY TL SO FAR plus i864 tip

Hi All,

Just trying to get a September thread up and running. Here's my TL so far:

August 31st: Mailed i130/i485/i765

September 2/Priority date: Docs received at Chicago facility

September 13: Notice of action for all 3/ email+texts

September 16: Received NOAs in mail

I expect a biometrics notice by the end of the week.


Tip for i864: My husband works as a contract worker and his income was really low so we did use a joint sponsor. However, we did not pay any taxes for the past three years. We knew that if we paid it that getting a transcript would take ages and we were trying to send in the docs ASAP. to bypass this, we filed all three years tax returns...luckily he only owed a minimal sum. We then made an appointment at our local tax office, got a copy of the returns stamped with an IRS seal and we sent it out the next day. Hope this helps someone.
