USCIS received our I-485 package on August 23rd and we received the receipts in the mail on September 6th. All the receipts were mailed from Lee Summit, MO although my residence is in Richmond, VA which should be under the Norfolk office. Does anyone have any experiences with the Norfolk office and how long it took? We are doing AOS from F-1 to green card.

My field office is also Norfolk, VA. I-485 (marriage based) application has priority date: april 24,2016. Had interview on 09/19/2016 and was approved, my online status changed to "new card is being produced " a couple of hours after the interview, and then changed again later that day to "case has been approved, we will mail you a notice" I suppose I'll get my resident card in the mail in a week or two, the Officer said it won't take more than 30 days.
Interview: very short, And the Immigration officer is the nicest person you could talk you, very sweet lady.
