Filed I-130 now while my wife on B2 visa is currently with me

My wife's I-94 for her B2 visa is going to expire on 22nd Nov, 2016.
We filed I-130 on 15th September 2016.
My wife delivered a baby last month in USA.
As I-130 takes months to get approved, should my wife leave with the baby before I-94 gets expired?
If by chance, I-130 is approved before her I-94 expires, still she has to leave since the status will not be current, right?
Are there any ways that I'm missing which are not seen by me?
My only concern is my wife has to leave with 2.5 months baby to India and stay there for months.
Any advice is greatly appreciated.
